MAC Superior Cutlery Series

MAC Superior Cutlery Bread Knife

MAC Superior Cutlery Santoku KnifeOne of the best-selling kitchen knives for MAC, all of the blades in the MAC Superior Series Cutlery are stamped with a high carbon Chrome Molybdenum steel alloy with Vanadium and Tungsten Carbide. Regarded as some of the toughest cutlery materials, the MAC Superior knives are exceptionally sharp, keep the edges longer and will resist rust, pitting and other normal cooking wear and tear. The tang, which extends from blade tip to handle end, allows for the cook to experience greater control and balance while making paper-thin cuts through even the toughest food materials.

The wooden handles are ergonomically designed for better grip, with an upswept handle design, rounded tip and hole in the blade for convenient and sanitary hanging. Suitable for peeling, slicing and carving, these knives feature the MAC emblem on the blade for a pleasing aesthetic touch. As with all quality kitchen cutlery, the MAC Superior Series knives are not dishwasher safe and need to be hand washed. MAC Knives are backed by a lifetime warranty.

User Reviews:

The MAC Superior Series is a favorite cutlery choice among Amazon.com and Cooking.com users, earning rave reviews of 5 out of 5 stars on both sites. Laughing

One user wrote in his five-star review of his Santoku knife: “I first tried a Mac side by side with a Global and a Forschner. A professional chef laid a piece of red bell pepper down and filleted the meat off the skin. I tried the same with all three knives. I came home from that knife skills class and ordered my own Mac Santoku. Cutting is effortless and a pleasure. Even thick carrots and potatoes offer no challenge. Buy this knife, and you will not be sorry. My other knives just sit in the block and get jealous. Be very careful, this knife is SHARP out of the box.”
